Tagged by Cher
I have been tagged by Cher, The Texas Women. Well, here goes... (1) I have lived in the same house for 37 years. (2) I was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Norman, Okla. (3)My favorite TV show is Friday Night Lights. (4) In the 70's my picture was in Texas Monthly, at a Gary Hart rally. I have also met Bill Clinton, Ann Richards and Alice Cooper! See Char you are sorry already you tagged me! (5) I once traded an antique trunk to a producer for tickets to a Oprah Winfrey show. (6) I met my husband in college on a geography field trip. (7) I am very afraid of bridges, heights and spiders!

In response to your questions, Oprah's show was taped for about 3 months in Amarillo about 12 years ago because she was defending herself in a law suit by a local cattle rancher. I was working in a antique mall at the time and one of her producers came in and I made a deal for 2 tickets. We got VIP seats up front, John Travolta, Emma Thompson and others were her guests, it was a thrill! I did not get to met Oprah, we were told not to speak to her! She was not real taken with Amarillo. The real thrill was Ann Richards, what a Great lady!
First off, I meant to say I would have loved to have met Ann Richards!
2nd, when the trial was going on, did you get to meet Dr. Phil? Isn't that where he and Oprah got together?
